The inspiration behind the formation of Pembridge Advisors Limited came from long standing clients of Robert-E. Koenig who are looking for ‘old fashioned' independent advice in respect to corporate finance decisions they needed to make unencumbered by the natural conflicts of interests inherent within investment banks such as ego, credit, trading or research.
Whereas most investment banks will have a self imposed cut-off point in respect to size, Pembridge is completely agnostic in this respect and focuses its energy on the client. After all, even mega cap companies acquire smaller companies.
Pembridge was founded and is managed by Robert-E. Koenig. Robert was formerly with Nomura for 3 years where he was Managing Director and Head of TMT Investment Banking. Prior to this Robert was with Deutsche Bank for 17 years where he was a Managing Director and Co-Head of Telecommunications.
During his now 21 years of investment banking experience, Robert has completed over 150 transactions advising on mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, IPOs as well as equity and debt capital raising across a range of sectors spanning a number of jurisdictions including North America, Asia and Europe. Robert is a German national who has lived and worked in New York, London, Tokyo, Mexico City and Frankfurt.
